The Ramsey story has gone off the rails

First, the coverage has been insane. We all know that. Even freakier for me I had watched "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town" last weekend. So I had been refreshed on the whole thing right before this story broke. There are so many things wrong with this and it all starts with the media coverage again.

Okay, these people jumped on it. They went from having a possible suspect to the murder being "solved" in under 24 hours. How in the world can they even run with that? Then they have to start backtracking on all the indictments they made of John and Patsy Ramsey for ten years. Then when "the suspect" starts to look like a weirdo they have to backtrack from saying that the murder is solved. It's been a week of nonsense.

About John Mark Karr. Beyond him looking creepy he looks exactly like someone. My best guess at who he's reminding me of has been the actor Richard E. Grant, but I don't think that's it. It's a closer resemblance than that and I can't come up with it. The thing about him that's getting to me right now is that if it is him, he's another 3 name killer. You know what I mean. Lee Harvey Oswald, James Earl Ray, Mark David Chapman.... But why the heck would JonBenet have one of those? Was she assassinated? They even marched him out in Thailand ala Lee Harvey Oswald. If he has said something about Patsy it would have been too much. It's all too staged. Too conspiracy looking. But why in the world would they have a conspiracy about a little girl's murder? Why would she need a fake 3 name killer. Something is so not right about this whole thing and I think it has almost nothing to do with the actual murder of a little girl. It's like it's the media chewing on it's own foot.

Now John Ramsey hasn't said much. I don't blame him. But he was taking the "wait and see" position. Which is both interesting and really the only thing that makes sense. But no one listened. Everyone went crazy. Her aunt going down to the grave site with a whole pack of the media there. What was that? The guy who was in touch with Karr all that time was a journalism professor. Um, okay, more media, great. This whole thing seems like a huge hoax and not just by the suspect. All these TV law experts, who are generally lawyers, didn't even question it at first. Everyone knows that in any highly publicized case there are always those people who take credit for it that had absolutely nothing to do with it. That's a given. But no one started questioning it until the suspect started talking crazy and looking nuts.

I was flipping channels last night just before 1AM eastern time and CNN and FOX News both had live coverage of the plane that Karr was on, arriving in LA. I mean just sitting there. With the hallway thingy that attaches the plane to the airport on it. And I'm wondering if they thought we were going to be able to see him get off the plane somehow. Or maybe they had Superman standing by to use his X-ray vision to tell us exactly when he left the actual plane and how many steps it took him to get to the airport. It stayed like that for a while so I changed it. I thought they were actually going to tell me something new. You know, news, should be like, I dunno, new.

Then today I'm seeing the note that was found when JonBenet was killed being compared with a high school year book entry. I will be the conquerer to BTC. That's a little too convenient don't you think? And does your handwriting look like it did in high school? Mine doesn't. Not as much as that did anyway. I'm sorry but something stinks. And it smells like a smell no one's ever smelt before. Too freakin' weird.

I don't even know what I think anymore. I actually hadn't thought that her parents had anything to do with her murder. It seemed to me that it had to be some kind of serial killer or pedophile. Whatever it was I thought it was well planned but not by them. Now it's all such a mess. We'll just have to wait and see.
