Boom cars

Do you own a boom car? If you do, I hate you. You people have got to be the most inconsiderate things to ever walk the earth. That noise is so infuriating, maddening even. I don't know how you can live with yourselves. It's not like people are just playing loud music either. Whatever the technology is that allows this horror into our society, if we can call it that anymore, it 's all about the repetition. You see when you cretins are in your cars listening to your music you hear an entire song. But the people outside of your car for miles around only hear *thud* *thud* *thud*. That repetition is the sonic equivalent of Chinese water torture. And somehow you people are getting away with it in droves. And it goes through walls. I often wonder who invented this nonsense and what new level of Hell must have been created for them. I literally sit there and wait for the noise to stop. Whatever I'm doing has to be put on hold because that obnoxious throbbing goes right through my brain and I can't do anything else. I have no choice whether I hear your stupid racket and I can't ignore it. It's too insidious. I can't watch TV, read, think. Why should people be allowed to do that? Because they can afford the newest stereo equipment? It's assault and this technology should be outlawed.

You see some of these cars going down the street playing so loudly that the whole car vibrates. It vibrates your windows if they go past your house too. But something that's occurred to me is that half of the people with the vibrating cars are driving brand new vehicles. Vehicles that I'm sure they'll be trading in in a few years. Who wants to be the lucky person to buy one of these cars used after every nut and bolt has been shaken every day for hours on end? It's a detriment to everyone. Those stupid enough to do that to their hearing and skeletal systems and those who have to deal with them. For the former at least they deserve whatever damage they do to themselves, but what about the rest of us? Do we deserve to be affected by this stuff because someone stupid wants to listen to their music on their terms and because someone smart enough to market this product wants more money? I don't think so. But again it seems like I'm one of a few who think that, because if that wasn't the case it wouldn't be happening. Good people, decent people would stop it. We still have the numbers but again most of us are sleeping.
